Tivy High School Antler Stadium

FJW Construction performed renovations, expansion, and improvements to the historic Antler Stadium at Tivy High School in Kerrville, Texas. The land where the stadium is located was donated to the Kerrville Independent School District for educational use by L. A. Schreiner in 1941; the first football game was played there later that year. Since that time, the school district has maintained the stadium, completing renovations when needed.  Recently, it served as the home field for Johnny Manziel, a Parade All-American at Tivy who later won the Heisman Trophy at Texas A&M University.

Kerrville Independent School District engaged FJW Construction to complete the upgrades, which included expanding the field house, adding accessibility fixtures, parking, a larger scoreboard and additional lighting.  To meet Americans with Disabilities Act standards, the renovations added handicap parking areas, accessible bathroom stalls, and additional handicap seating areas.  The project also increased the parking capacity to 650 total parking spots.

The home of the Fighting Antlers was completed on schedule prior to the beginning of the 2014 football season.
