First Financial Bank - Boyd Branch

First Financial Bank originally selected FJW Construction to build its Midlothian, Texas branch. They were so pleased with our performance that multiple projects were subsequently awarded.

FJW met the challenge of renovating the interior of the Boyd branch in just seven weeks by working nights and weekends so that the construction would not disrupt the daily bank operations.

The demolition of the existing interior included the removal of chair rails, doors and window trim, ceramic tile, carpet, tellers’ line, and drive through counter. The existing ceramic tile aisle was removed and replaced with granite tile, while new cherry wood doors and trim were installed at the lobby door openings and office windows. A new cherry wood lobby teller line with granite deal plates and tops and a new counter for the drive thru teller station were installed. The Bank’s standard carpet was installed in the lobby, offices, work rooms, and teller stations.

After completion of the interior, FJW also solved a significant drainage issue on the north side of the building by a sump pump, and re-grading to correct the problem.

FJW completed the construction, met the challenges and delivered the facility on schedule.
