Tigin Irish Pub and Restaurant

FJW Construction was selected to finish-out the interior of Tigin Irish Pub & Restaurant at DFW's International Terminal D.

This 2,600 SF project is one of a group of authentic Irish Pubs, concept originating from three Irish and Irish-American entrepreneurs. The store features a small, warm and cozy atmosphere with dark, rich wood millwork and furniture. The exterior of the store is made from authentic stone laid in a pattern similar to that of pubs in Ireland.

The space is lighted with unique pendants, wall sconces and accent lighting to give the space a soft glow. An addition to the authentic Irish Pub is the use of several plasma television sets to keep patrons abreast of current news or sporting events. FJW coordinated all aspects of the construction of the shell, as well as the construction, receipt, delivery and installation of all kitchen equipment and furnishings.

The project was compressed into a tight schedule to meet the original planned opening of the Terminal. The work was performed in a high security area, requiring coordination with TSA and airport security service for both terminal and airside access.
