T.G.I. Friday's

FJW Construction was selected to do the interior finish-out of the T.G.I.Friday's restaurant at DFW International Terminal D. The 4,500 SF project consisted of finishing the interior space out to meet Carlson Restaurant's new "To-Go" marketing prototype.

The interior of the store features a cloud ceiling, utilizing the traditional T.G.I.Friday's traditional red and white colors. Dark wood paneling with brushed aluminum strips makes for a cozy and relaxing place to dine. Quarry tile, slate flooring, and granite countertops complete a sleek interior. FJW coordinated all aspects of the construction process including delivery, receipt, installation and connection of all owner-furnished restaurant equipment and fixtures and the installation of T.G.I.Friday's unique wall graphics, signage and store decorations.

The project was compressed in an extremely tight schedule to meet the original planned opening of the Terminal. The work was performed in a high security area, requiring coordination with TSA and airport security service for both terminal and airside access.
