Since being founded in 1972, FJW Construction has gained recognition as one of Texas’ top quality contractors. Emphasizing integrity, reliability, superior performance, and delivering on its commitments has earned FJW Construction a long list of repeat clients. Due to FJW’s stellar reputation, clients have often chosen to select FJW early in the design phase so that they may work alongside the designer to produce the best value project possible (essentially free of change-orders to the end-user). In short, FJW has been using the design-build concept before the term “Design-Build” was universally accepted to identify this type of delivery method. The capabilities of FJW were further enhanced when they were acquired as a part of the Broaddus Companies in 2008.

Over the last 20 years, FJW has completed 350 projects (generally small-to-medium in size) totaling $500M. Of the 100 clients FJW has served, 65 are owners who have an ongoing capital construction program. FJW can proudly claim that 85% of those owners have hired us on a repeat basis. Our firm has accomplished this amazing performance record with a very consistent staff that has remained virtually intact during this time. FJW has worked in over 30 states with a scope of operations that reflect the reach of our national customer base: American Airlines, Dallas Baptist University, United Surgical Partners International, Surgical Care Affiliates, The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and Community Health Services, to name a choice few. Specialized technology and equipment requirements, components, controls and alarms are routine tasks for our highly-trained personnel.

In 2008, when FJW became a part of the Broaddus Companies, that same staff remained in place, continuing their outstanding performance and track record of repeat clients. The new association with the Broaddus Companies brought even more of an integrated project delivery mentality to FJW, along with the addition of invaluable experience with higher education, K-12, healthcare, municipal government, retail, and public/private partnership projects.
