Dr. James Broaddus was honored at Dallas Baptist University's 23rd annual Patriot Baseball Banquet on February 6th. He received the Patriot Legends Award in recognition of FJW Construction's contribution to the advancement of Dallas Baptist University and Patriot Baseball.

"We are grateful for all that you and your company have done to help DBU in expanding our beautiful facilities. It has been a pleasure to work closely with you and your senior leadership," said J. Blair Blackburn, Executive Vice President of DBU.

Dr. Broaddus remarked "I am deeply honored by this recognition and consider it a direct reflection of the tireless effort and unwavering commitment of the FJW project team."

FJW Construction has provided development and construction services for six major building projects at DBU, including the Joan and Andy Horner Ballpark.  The baseball stadium can host over 2,000 spectators and includes four guest suites, a pavilion near left field for large groups, and party plazas along both sides of the concourse. The facility opened with its first intercollegiate baseball game in February 2013, after being completed over the course of a single off-season
