Titus Regional Medical Center Patty and Bo Pilgrim Cancer Center

FJW was selected to build the Patty and Bo Pilgrim Cancer Center over a dozen other contractors, including a large, well-known local contractors, because of our strength in oncology and experience working with rural healthcare facilities. A strong relationship quickly developed between the FJW team and the client because both understood the value of and are dedicated to outstanding customer service.

The Patty and Bo Pilgrim Cancer Center is home to the latest oncology diagnostic and treatment modalities in the area offering both medical and radiation oncology care. The 11,000 SF free-standing, single-story center is one of a few with the technology and drug therapy to allow the patients to stay in their community with their family and friends.

The interior is outfitted with a Computed Tomography (CT) Scanner Room, Digital Scanner Room, Endocrinology Suite, Surgeon/Gastro Suite, and Pulmonary Suite as well as a linear accelerator oncology vault. All suites are individually metered for electrical power and stand alone DX Cooling Units with heat pumps.

Upon completion, Titus Regional Medical Center was so pleased with FJW's performance that they awarded us millions of dollars in additional projects to span several years, including the two-story, vertical addition to the Titus Regional Medical Center Hospital Expansion, the 64,000SF Outpatient Wellness Center, and the current two-year façade replacement program on the main hospital building while it is in full operation.
